I can't think of a better way to write this post then share some feedback from a client: “It was one of the most empowering things I’ve done in my life and every time I look at the photos I’m proud and impressed with myself. It gave me strength and confidence (and still does). Every woman should do a boudoir shoot at least once in her life. Wendy’s been amazing to work with, it felt like a journey we did together, from location research, posing ideas, to make up and jewelry choices and the final selection of the photos. During the shoot she gave me lots of time, made sure To View More >>

Women have a boudoir shoot for a variety of reasons , for themselves as a confidence boost, celebrating their body after a change, a gift for their loved one, because they deserve it.  I even have husbands requesting shoots for their wife’s, so that “she can see the beauty that I see”. Boudoir photography is a genre of photography where a women is photographed in the most flattering way, while being sensual and seductive.  It is classy, modern and an experience that I recommend to all women.   It’s so rewarding and empowering. What is a lifestyle newborn shoot?  A lifestyle newborn photoshoot is generally at your home and is all about the connection and love between the family members, including siblings, and the baby.  This style of shoot is less posed and more natural.  Think of it as a photographer looking in on your environment and capturing those special moments as they unfold.   It’s about capturing your story with beautiful natural images of your new baby. Of course I do give direction to ensure I can create amazing memores of this special time in your life.  I incorporate your To View More >>

This is a wedding I will fondly remember as all about love and family. Not only did Jules and Adam have a two gorgous children of their own but it was also their family on both sides that was extremely important to them.  Every part of their day and ceremony had consideration and inclusion to make sure that their weeking represented just that - family. For me the day that was about them and their love but also acknowledges the importance of their family.  To View More >>

Mike and Rhoda feel in love with New Zealand while on holiday and like many that now live in Wanaka, decided to move here.I had the privilege of photographing them with their extended family who were visiting from the States. For those who know Mike, he never does anything in halves.  A full family lifestyle shoot was booked including a helicopter ride to Coromandel Peak at the top of Mt Roy.  We arrived at Wanaka Helicopters and Mike had a small chat with the pilot …Well the trip to the top of Mt Roy was soon extended to include the pilot's favorite location, Lochnagar,   To View More >>

I have to confess to being a Mum who has occasionally taken her kids to school with her PJ's under her trackies. (“Mum, don’t you dare get out of the car!”)  One morning I woke up feeling slightly on the wrong side of the wonderful and I donned my less than vogue PJs/Trackie pants outfit to drop off the kids. As I arrived home I decided that a mood change was required and the morning was too beautiful to be wasted, so I grabbed my camera and my hairy children (the dogs) and off to lake we went. (Isn’t it great that your pets don’t care about bad hair and PJs!)  To View More >>

What is it about fun and laughter that is so contagious?   Justin and Sharon’s wedding had such fun and hilarity that it still makes me smile whenever I think of it.  I started the morning capturing Sharon getting ready and the giggles started there. The fun intensified at the ceremony at Edgewater Resort, with an awesome boogie down the aisle (one of my favourite shots). Love and gales of laughter punctuated the whole day and being able to capture such joy in their photos was a real treat.  This beautiful wedding was about them, their love for each other and for life itself. Cheng and Shawn –a highly intelligent, motivated and dedicated couple (Cheng was studying on the day of her wedding) also gentle, gracious and very much in love.   Cheng walked down the isle of St Peter's Anglican Church radiantly beautiful  in a sublime lace dress...and her shoes – oh those shoes...wow!  Their ceremony was filled with love, followed by a reception at Stoneridge Estate where family and friends were treated to stunning surroundings and views. On a way to the ceremony we made a small stop off to Lake Wakatipu where ‘those shoes!’ were To View More >>
